The Istituto Italiano di Cultura takes the current COVID-19 outbreak seriously. As this is a time of uncertainty and changing conditions, in order to ensure the health, safety and serenity of our students, guests and the public at large, we have taken the following measures:

  • Events organized at or by the Istituto have been cancelled or postponed until further notice. For information and up-to-date developments on all events, please CLICK HERE to consult the individual event pages on the Istituto’s website and/or sign up for our newsletter HERE to receive updated information via your inbox

  • Both the Gallery and the Library at our location on Huron Street are closed until further notice

  • As the Istituto Italiano di Cultura is closed to the public due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, all courses will be offered online via virtual classrooms during the Summerterm, from the comfort of your home, instead of on-site at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura. All courses will be taught by our regular instructors. Although the classes will be offered virtually, students will continue to participate actively in those same activities offered in an on-site classroom: speaking, writing, listening, working in groups, etc

Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Istituto Italiano di Cultura via email at the following addresses:

Courses: corsi.iictoronto@esteri.it

General Inquiries: iictoronto@esteri.it

During this difficult time, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura of Toronto would like to express its solidarity with the community at large. We hope that this health situation will be resolved soon, and we thank you for your understanding
